The apprenticeships website and online recruitment system (apprenticeship vacancies) are both at the heart of the Skills Funding Agency’s drive to improve services for users through digital service transformation.
In line with the Government Digital Strategy, this is being undertaken in two ways:
- the apprenticeships exemplar will replace the current applications system and will deliver a new way for individuals to apply for vacancies and employers to post vacancies
- this apprenticeships website will be transitioning key content to GOV.UK by the end of 2014. We are using a number of analytics, as well as business knowledge, to ensure that user needs are robust and that people can find what they need as easily as possible.
Archive of old content
The addresses of current webpages across this site will be redirected to equivalent information on GOV.UK.
All former content from this site will remain online on a copy held by The National Archives, so people can still find and refer to things if they need to.
GOV.UK is the single government website. It contains the citizen and business-facing material previously found on Directgov and Businesslink, as well as corporate content published by all government departments.
When completed, 300 agencies and other government bodies will be moved to the site.
